Named for the pretty prairie the city was founded on, Hialeah is known for Hialeah Park, a grand Thoroughbread horse race track. It costs $994 to insure a car in Tallahassee, which makes it the only Top Ten city in Florida below the state’s average premium. Florida Farm Bureau, Auto-Owners Insurance, and State Farm had three of the most affordable rates in Tallahassee, averaging $428 a year.
